Slushy Punch

  1. Dissolve jello in
  2. boiling
  3. water.
  4. Mix
  5. sugar and warm water, bring to a boil and add to jello.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Add lemon and pineapple juice;
  8. mix
  9. well.
  10. Freeze in plastic containers or Ziploc bags.
  11. When
  12. ready to serve, remove from freezer and let thaw until you can
  13. divide
  14. it
  15. in pieces with a knife and mash to a slush with
  16. a
  17. potato
  18. masher
  19. (about
  20. 3 hours for a gallon size container).
  21. Add ginger ale and serve immediately. (The flavor of the
  22. jello
  23. determines the color of the punch.) Very good.
  24. Yield: 50 small punch cups.
