Thai-Style Chicken
- 8 chicken thighs
- sweet chili sauce see * Note
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce see * Note
- 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro finely
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- ground white pepper teaspoon freshly-
- * Note: Fish sauce and sweet chili sauce are available at Asian food stores.
- Combine marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Add chicken and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or up to overnight.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place chicken pieces 1 inch apart in a shallow baking pan. Bake, uncovered, until meat near bone is no longer pink when cut, 40 to 45 minutes.
- Place chicken on a serving plate. Pass a small bowl of sweet chili sauce for dipping.
