One Bowl Extreme Fudge Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 325F. Line an 8x8 square pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang to lift the brownies out later.
  2. Combine the butter, sugar, cocoa, and salt and melt till smooth and hot (microwave or double boiler).
  3. Let the mixture cool slightly, and then add in the beaten eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Once combined, fold in the flour. Lastly, mix in the nuts. The batter will be quite thick.
  5. Spread the batter into the pan, and bake for 30-40 minutes, until a toothpick has a few moist crumbs on it. (It won't look ready, but it is! You don't want to over-bake these brownies.)
  6. Let cool for a couple hours before removing from pan and slicing into squares.
