Spaghetti With Crab Sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 16 ounces tomatoes whole, cut up
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- pepper sauce Hot red
- 1 pound crabmeat fresh
- 1/4 cup sherry wine
- 1 pound noodles spaghetti, or 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- Saute onions, garlic, parsley and celery in oil until golden brown.
- Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and seasonings.
- Simmer 1 hour.
- Add crabmeat and wine.
- Simmer a few minutes.
- Cook and drain spaghetti.
- Add spaghetti to sauce and mix well.
- Pour on platter and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Serve immediately.
- Makes 5-6 servings.
