Sweet And Spicy Ginger String Beans
- 2 1/2 pounds string beans fresh
- 4 cloves garlic - chopped
- 1 red onion - sliced
- 2 inches fresh ginger piece of, - chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- Gently simmer the string beans until tender.
- Heat a large frying pan with olive oil; add the onions, garlic and ginger and saute until the garlic is fragrant and the onions are slightly golden.
- Lift the string beans out of the water with a slotted spoon and carefully add them to the sauteed garlic, onions and ginger. Saute the sting beans for another minute or two.
- Mix the ingredients for the dressing and add to the string beans.
