Steak W/ Marinara, Mozzarella, & Peppadew Peppers
- 2 ribeye steak Organic
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 3 tablespoons butter

- 1 dash worcestershire
- 1 teaspoon season salt Lawrys
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt & Pepper
- Allow your steak to sit for at least 30 minutes on counter top to bring to room temperature.
- Then season your steaks on both sides with lawrys season salt, garlic powder, and salt & pepper.
- Throw a dash of worcestershire in a few spots on both sides of the steaks.
- Pre-heat your cast iron skillet on medium-high for a few minutes.
- Add your butter to your cast iron skillet it will be HOT and melt quickly.
- Add your steak to the cast iron skillet with your rosemary. Depending on the thickness of your steaks and your desired temperature cook the minutes for 4-6 minutes on each side.
- Add your marinara to a pot and heat on medium-low heat.
- Remove your steaks and add them to a cutting board.
- Add your think sliced mozzarella to each step. I added 5-6 slices of mozzarella to each steak.
- Now cover the steaks with foil and let sit for at least 5-10 minutes so the cheese melts and the juices redistribute throughout the steak.
- The steaks will continue to cook while sitting on the cutting board so make sure you don't over cook your steaks in the cast iron skillet.
- Once cheese has melted cut your steak at an angle.
- Spread your marinara down the center of your plate, top with sliced steak with the melted cheese, top with peppadew peppers and add a sprig of rosemary for presentation.
