Pavlova With Greek Yogurt And Red Fruit Topping
- 4 egg whites
- 1 1/8 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2 Greek yogurts
- fruits to taste
- Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
- Whip the egg whites, but not too much.
- Gradually, add the sugar, and beat until the whites are firm enough to form the pavlova.
- Add the sifted cornflour, and vinegar, and mix well.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper, and draw a not very wide circle in it. Don't make it really large, to get a taller dessert.
- Place the egg whites in this circle, and mold with a spatula so the cake gets round and high.
- Put in the oven, reducing the heat to 120 C, and bake for about 1 hour.
- After this time, turn the oven off, but leave the pavlova inside until it cools completely.
- Garnish with Greek yogurt beaten until very creamy, and red fruits.
