Quick Cake With Sugar Frosting
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/8 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup margarine
- 11/16 cup double cream
- 2 3/8 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 orange optional
- sugar to taste
- Preheat oven to 180. degrees Celsius.
- Grease a small round pie tin with margarine and sprinkle it with flour. Set it aside.
- Combine the eggs, sugar and orange zest in a mixing bowl and set to temperature 37, speed 4.
- Add butter and cream and whip at level.
- 5 for 1 minute.
- Finally add the flour and baking powder and mix for a few seconds at speed 3.
- Check if the dough is homogeneous.
- Pour the dough into the pan and sprinkle with sugar abundantly.
- Place in the oven and cook for about 30 minutes.
- Check the cooking, remove from the oven, wait a few minutes and unmold carefully not to break much of the cover.
