Soy Meatballs With Stir Fried Vegetables
- 1 cup tvp soy bits
- 1/2 chopped onion onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 green chillies
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon corn flour
- 1 tablespoon flax seed powder in a little water
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup green peppers chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon garlic sauce honey
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Rehydrate TVP (Soy Protein) by pouring 7 cups boiling water over 1 cup TVP.
- Soak it for 5-10 minutes and drain water.
- Fry onion and green chillies in a little sesame oil.
- Add fried onion, chillies and flax seed mix to drained soy protein.
- Coat it in corn flour and place them on a greased baking tray.
- Bake at 350u0b0 F for 10 minutes and take them out.
- Brush with honey garlic sauce and return to oven and bake until the outside browns. Set aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a wok and add chopped carrots and later, green bell pepper.
- Cook stirring frequently to get a crunchy texture.
- Stir in soy sauce, honey garlic sauce and veggie meatballs.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds. Serve it hot.
