Jamaican Banana Cake

- 1 package cake mix Signature Banana
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter flavored shortening
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1/3 cup walnuts
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Grease and flour 13x9-inch pan.
- Combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs in large bowl.
- Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in 1/2 cup walnuts by hand. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake 33 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Combine brown sugar, shortening, milk and coconut in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until shortening is melted. Evenly spread over warm cake.
- Broil 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool cake on wire rack for 15 minutes. Serve warm or room temperature.
