Chocolate And Irish Cream Custard Tart
- 1 frozen pie crust 9-inch, thawed
- 4 ounces milk chocolate chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons irish cream liqueur
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- unsweetened cocoa powder to dust
- whipped cream to serve, optional
- Preheat the oven to 375u0b0F. Prick the pie crust with a fork. Place on a baking pan. Bake 10 mins. Cool 10 mins.
- Reduce oven temperature to 325u0b0F.
- Meanwhile, place chocolate, milk and liqueur in a small saucepan on low heat. Stir for 2-3 mins until smooth. Cool slightly.
- Whisk eggs, sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl. Gradually whisk in milk mixture. Pour into pie crust.
- Bake 25-30 mins until custard is just set. Cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Dust with cocoa and serve with whipped cream, if desired.
