Jim'S No-Hurt Chili
- 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 tsp. ground chili powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 cans pinto beans
- 1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 large red bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 large yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10 oz.) can diced tomatoes and green chilies
- salt and pepper to taste
- Brown meat in skillet and drain.
- In a large pot, blend all ingredients well.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce to low heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
