Tuna With Avocado And Pineapple Salsa
- 4 tuna steaks each about 225g
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 250 grams pineapple peeled, cored and cut into cubes
- 1 red onion peeled and finely chopped
- 1 chilli pepper halved, deseeded and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves chopped
- 1 avocado halved and cut into small cubes
- green chilli or red, for garnish
- lime slices roasted, for garnish
- coriander leaves for garnish
- Drizzle the tuna with 2 tbsp olive oil, the soy sauce and 1 tbsp lime juice and set aside to marinate briefly.
- Meanwhile, to make the salsa, mix the avocado, onion, diced chili pepper, chopped cilantro and pineapple together in a bowl.
- Season the tuna with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan and cook over high heat for 2-3 mins on each side. Serve with the salsa. Garnish with the whole chili pepper, lime slices and cilantro leaves.
