Mini Meat Pasties
- 1 roll ready-made puff pastry
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 onion peeled and chopped
- 5 1/4 ounces ground beef
- 1 hard-boiled egg chopped
- 6 green olives chopped
- 1 tablespoon golden raisins chopped
- salt
- cumin
- paprika
- marjoram
- 1 egg yolk
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
- Unroll the puff pastry and cut out small circles, 5 to 6 centimeters in diameter.
- In a frying pan or skillet, add 1 tbsp. olive oil and gently fry the onion and ground beef for 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Remove from the heat and place in a bowl.
- Add the boiled egg, olives, raisins, and a pinch each of salt, cumin, paprika, and marjoram.
- Place a little of the meat mixture on to each pastry disk, fold over and seal the edges well with a fork.
- Brush with beaten egg yolk.
- Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
