Mini Meat Pasties

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry and cut out small circles, 5 to 6 centimeters in diameter.
  3. In a frying pan or skillet, add 1 tbsp. olive oil and gently fry the onion and ground beef for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Remove from the heat and place in a bowl.
  5. Add the boiled egg, olives, raisins, and a pinch each of salt, cumin, paprika, and marjoram.
  6. Place a little of the meat mixture on to each pastry disk, fold over and seal the edges well with a fork.
  7. Brush with beaten egg yolk.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
