Crispy Mandarin Pork
- 1 lb. boneless pork cut into 3/4-inch cubes
- 1 egg white
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. biscuit mix
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
- 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
- 2 medium green peppers, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 c. maraschino cherries
- Combine egg white, 2 tablespoons cornstarch and soy sauce. Stir in cubed pork.
- Combine biscuit mix, water, sesame seed and combine with pork mixture.
- Place 8 pieces of pork, one at a time, into deep hot fat.
- Fry 2 to 3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towel. Keep warm in 250u0b0 oven.
