Stir-Fried Broccoli And Beef

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients and 1/2 cup water.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Mix cornstarch with remaining 1/4 cup water; set aside.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in uncovered wok at 300u0b0.
  5. Add broccoli stalk slices, cover; cook 2 minutes.
  6. Add flowerets; cover, cook 2 minutes or until tender-crisp.
  7. Remove broccoli to hot platter. Add remaining 2 tablespoons oil to wok; heat at 375u0b0.
  8. Add meat; stir-fry 1 minute.
  9. Add soy sauce mixture; stir-fry 2 minutes. Return broccoli to wok; mix.
  10. Add cornstarch mixture.
  11. Stir until slightly thickened.
  12. Serve immediately.
