Homemade Spring Rolls

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Add the onion, leek, and carrot to a skillet on medium heat with the oil. Saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced meat. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool.
  4. Place a wonton wrapper on a cutting board. Add some of the filling and cheese into the center of the wrapper.
  5. Roll the sheet, pressing the filling together to keep it from spilling out.
  6. Fold one of the sides in. Repeat with the other side.
  7. Finish rolling, brush with the beaten egg to seal the border.
  8. Repeat for the remaining wrappers and filling.
  9. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes or until crispy and golden on the outside. You can also fry the rolls in plenty of hot oil.
