Sukiyaki

  1. Saute onion in hot oil.
  2. Add beef.
  3. Saute 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add celery, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, sugar, soy sauce and water.
  5. Stir to mix well.
  6. Cover; simmer about 10 minutes.
  7. Arrange spinach on top of meat and vegetables.
  8. Cover, simmer for 5 minutes or until spinach wilts and veggies are crisp tender.
  9. Serve with hot seasoned rice.
  10. Makes 4 servings.
