Watermelon Margarita Pops
- 12 ounces watermelon peeled, seeded, cut into 1 to 1 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 Orange
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
- Place watermelon pieces in a shallow baking dish. Finely shred peel from orange (2 teaspoons) and juice the orange (1/4 cup). In a small bowl whisk together tequila, orange juice and sugar. Drizzle tequila mixture over watermelon pieces. Cover and freeze for 2 to 3 hours or until firm.
- Transfer watermelon cubes to a serving bowl; drizzle with tequila mixture. Sprinkle with salt and orange peel.
