Soba Noodle Bowls With Five Spice Beef {For 2}

  1. Stir together five spice, 2 tbsp. of vegetable oil and 3 tsp (1 tbsp.) of soy sauce in a small bowl. Thinly slice steak against grain. Pour five spice marinate mixture in a bag along with steak. Refrigerate for 1 hour. In a small saucepan heat beef stock on low.
  2. Remove steak from refrigerator and get going with the recipe. In another saucepan/wok (I used a non-stick wok) on medium low, add 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil. Cook onion about 3-5 minutes. Add garlic and ginger and cook about a minute.
  3. Add steak to onion and garlic mixture and cook for about 2 minute
  4. Add stock and bok choy to steak/onion mixture in wok. Bring up heat. Add soba noodles and cook about 3 minutes. Add fish sauce, sesame oil and remaining 1 tsp of soy sauce. Stir.
  5. Serve up and garnish with chili peppers, sriracha, cilantro, mushrooms, green onion and lime. Enjoy!
