Ladybug Muffins
- 3/4 cup butter at room temperature
- 7/8 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 5/8 cup kool-aid
- 3 cups white flour
- 3 teaspoons yeast
- 6 2/3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 package vanilla pudding
- 1/2 cup cream cold
- 5/8 cup kool-aid
- chocolate sticks
- dark chocolate melted
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Mix the butter, sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, Kool-Aid, white flour, and yeast in a large bowl.
- Pour the dough into a muffin tray and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove them from the oven, let them cool off, and slice the muffin tops horizontally.
- Slice the tops in the middle, then slice one of the halves into 2.
- Mix the powdered sugar, water, and red edible dye.
- Spread the frosting over the sliced halves, then draw dots using the dark chocolate and a frosting sleeve (these are the wings).
- Draw a smiley face on the larger top slices with the dark chocolate (these are the faces).
- Follow the instructions on the pudding package, and mix it with the cream and Kool-Aid.
- Spread the pudding over the base of the muffins, place the wings and faces on top, form the antennae with chocolate sticks, and serve.
