Homespun-Meat Pie

  1. Combine meat, mushrooms, egg, onion, bread crumbs and seasonings; mix lightly.
  2. Press meat mixture onto bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Bake at 400u0b0 for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove meat shell from oven.
  5. Reduce oven temperature to 350u0b0.
  6. Drain excess fat from meat shell.
  7. Mash hot potatoes with milk.
  8. Stir in process cheese, parsley and salt.
  9. Fill hot meat shell with potato mixture.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes.
  11. Makes 6 servings.
