Nutritious Mixed Flour Masala Bhakri/Bread
- Rice flour - 1 cup
- Wheat flour - 1 cup
- Bajra flour - 1 cup
- Jowar flour - 1 cup
- Gram flour - 1/2 cup
- Chopped Onion - 1 or 2
- Chopped green chilly - 1
- Cumin seeds powder - 1tsp
- Coriander powder - 1tsp
- Turmeric - 1tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1tsp
- Chopped coriander - 1tbsp
- Salt - for taste
- Water - 1 to 2 cups or as you required
- Take a big bowl and mix all the flours in it.
- Add chopped onion, green chilly, coriander in the mixed flour
- Now add all the spices, turmeric powder, red chilly, cumin seeds, coriander, and salt.
- Pour some water and start making dough out of it. The dough should be neither too thick nor soft.
- Now make medium size balls of the dough and roll it in your palm.
- Till the time your first bhakri gets ready, turn on the gas stove and put the tawa on it.
- Take a flat base, sprinkle some dry flour on it, place one ball on it and slowly slowly start pressing it with your fingers.
- The size of the bhakri should increase every time you will press it.
- Once you are ready with thin bhakri, put it on heated tawa, sprinkle some water on it and try to spread it with your hand or spoon.
- Now turn and cook the other side of bhakri.
- Take off the cooked bhakri from a tawa and serve it in a plate.
