Crispy Samosas With Mirabelle Plums

  1. Wash and pit mirabelle plums and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Add sugar and mix gently. Set aside.
  3. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  4. Cut each philo sheet lengthwise in 2 strips 8 to 10 cm wide.
  5. Brush each strip with melted butter.
  6. Place one tablespoon of plums at the end of each strip, then fold making triangles.
  7. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and bake for about 10 to 5 minutes until well browned.
  9. Remove from oven,and sprinkle again with confectioners sugar.
  10. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
