Pan-Seared Salmon With Orange-Miso Reduction
- 4 salmon filets 4 oz each
- salt
- pepper
- olive oil

- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger grated
- 1 juice orange
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 3 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon white miso paste
- 2 teaspoons honey
- salt
- pepper
- In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over med-high heat.
- Season salmon fillets on each side with salt and pepper.
- Pan-sear salmon on each side for 3-4 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan, heat some olive oil over med-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger and saute until soft.
- Stir in all the liquids (next 5 ingredients); bring to a boil.
- Add miso paste and honey; whisk until well incorporated.
