Christmas Morning Sandwiches
- 2 slices bread per sandwich
- 2 slices deli ham
- 2 slices smoked turkey deli
- 2 slices provolone cheese
- 2 beaten eggs per sandwich
- milk for thinning, optional
- For each sandwich: take 2 slices of bread
- Layer as follows: bread, 1 slice of cheese, 4 slices of meat (2 of each kind) , 1 slice of cheese, and top with the other slice of bread
- Beat eggs (and thin with milk if you like)
- Dip each side of the sandwich into the egg mixture allowing bread to soak up a nice amount of egg
- Cut sandwich diagonally and arrange in a sprayed casserole dish, cut side down
- Cover with foil and place in fridge till read to bake
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0 F
- Place sandwiches in oven uncovered and bake for 30 minutes until crisp and golden
- Serve with cranberry sauce
