Spicy Beef And Broccoli
- 2 pounds round steak thawed, trimmed, tenderized and cut into thin 2 inch strips
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 3 cloves garlic peeled and minced
- 1 tablespoon bouillon Better Than, (R) Chili Base
- 1 teaspoon bouillon Better Than, (R) Reduced Sodium Roasted Beef Base
- 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1 inch florets
- 2 cups cold water
- 3 scallions medium, rinsed, trimmed and thinly sliced
- 12 ounces noodles Asian-style, prepare according to package directions
- Heat oil in a heavy bottomed skillet (preferably cast iron), to medium high.
- Add tenderized steak strips; cook until liquid evaporates and meat browns, about 15-20 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic, Chili and Beef Bases, soy sauce; stir to combine.
- Add broccoli, cook until crisp-tender, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
- Add sliced scallions, stir.
