Broccoli, Salmon, And Manchego Cheese Quiche

- pastry dough unsweetened
- 1 1/8 cups broccoli
- 3 eggs
- salt
- 3 3/8 tablespoons whipping cream
- 3 slices smoked salmon
- 1/2 cup manchego cheese shredded
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Butter and flour a pie pan. Roll the dough into a round with a rolling pin and place into the pie pan, trimming any extra dough. Bake for 10 minutes.
- To prepare the filling, cut the broccoli into pieces and steam until cooked.
- Whisk the eggs together with the cream and add salt to taste. Set aside.
- Place the broccoli onto the bottom of the pie pan and top with the salmon in a layer. Pour the egg mixture over the salmon and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
