Honey Cakes With Pistachios
- 1 large egg
- 7 3/4 tablespoons melted butter
- 6 1/2 tablespoons greek yogurt
- 9/16 cup ground almonds
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 6 1/3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 4 tablespoons honey
- ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted pistachios
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Break the egg in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add the warm melted butter and yogurt. Mix with fork.
- Stir in the almonds, flour, baking powder, sugar, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 2 pinches of ground cinnamon.
- Mix quickly with a fork.
- Pour into silicone molds. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before unmolding.
- Heat the remaining honey in a saucepan and then sprinkle on top of cookies.
- Sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
