Tuna Seashell Casserole
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. diced pimento
- 8 oz. seashell macaroni, cooked 6 minutes and drained
- 1 (7 oz.) can tuna, drained and flaked
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- In saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons margarine over medium heat. Add celery and onion.
- Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes.
- Stir in soup, milk and pimento until blended.
- In a 2-quart casserole, toss macaroni and tuna.
- Pour sauce over macaroni mixture.
- Mix bread crumbs and the melted margarine; sprinkle over top of casserole.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly.
- Makes 6 servings.
