Baharat Turkey Rolls
- 4 steaks turkey
- 8 slices bacon
- 2/3 cup feta cheese crushed
- 4 tablespoons baharat * seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon mint leaves chopped dried
- 1 tablespoon garlic granules
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg grated
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- Flatten the steaks carefully with a meat mallet.
- Place 2 slices of bacon on each steak, sprinkle with feta cheese.
- Roll the steak into a roll and secure with a metal or wooden toothpicks.
- Mix baharat and salt. Coat the rolls with the baharat on all sides.
- Very briefly saute the garlic in a mixture of oil and butter (to infuse it with the garlic aroma), Take the garlic out of the fat.
- Saute rolls in the oil and butter mixture for about 5 minutes on each side or until done.
- Before serving take toothpicks out of the meat.
- * Combine all the ingredients together till well mixed. Store in an airtight jar and keep away from direct sunlight.
- Serve with the roasted cauliflower.
