Taco Skillet Burgers
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (11 1/2 oz.) can condensed bean with bacon soup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 c. grated American cheese
- 1 1/2 c. corn chips, broken
- In a bowl, combine the egg, milk, bread crumbs, onion and taco seasoning mix.
- Add beef; mix well.
- Shape mixture into 6 patties. In large lightly greased skillet, brown the patties on both sides.
- Mix soup and 1/2 cup water; spoon over meat.
- Cover; cook over low heat 15 minutes.
- Top with tomatoes and cheese.
- Heat, covered, 3 minutes longer.
- Serve with corn chips.
- Serves 6.
