Beef Patties With Spicy Mushrooms
- 9/16 pound ground beef
- string cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter plus a dash of olive oil
- 2 7/8 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 onion finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon pepper chopped chile de arbol
- pepper
- salt
- Melt the butter with the olive oil in a large frying pan.
- Add the onion and garlic into the pan. Once the onion is halfway cooked, add the chili pepper and cook for one minute.
- Add the slices of mushroom and cook for another 5 minutes. Set aside for later.
- Add salt and pepper to the ground beef and make two round beef patties by hand. Place the meat on the same frying pan and completely cook both sides.
- Place the string cheese on top of each beef patty and allow the cheese to melt.
- Serve the meat on a plate and add the mushrooms on top of the melted cheese.
