Huntress Pie
- 1/2 pint chicken livers organic, chopped, make sure it's organic!
- 1/2 pound andouille sausage chopped
- 1 pint whole wheat elbows cooked
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 3/4 cups marinara sauce Vodka garlic
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 vidalia onion thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pizza dough small, ball
- Heat butter in large skillet
- Saute both onions until translucent
- Add chicken livers and sausage and saute until brown
- Slowly add beef broth, 1/4 at a time and let boil, then reduce heat
- Let simmer for about 20-25 minutes until meats are cooked and tender Add beef broth as necessary
- Add cooked elbow pasta and marinara sauce and combine well, heat for a few minutes
- Pour meat and pasta mixture into Dutch oven
- Cover with a thinly-rolled pizza dough and brush with olive oil
- Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes until dough brown
