  1. First, brown the ground beef, over medium-high heat in a skillet. Drain the extra fat and liquid just as you notice the last bit of pink cooks out.nnDish out the cooked rice into bowls then top generously with the yakitori ground beef mixture and enjoy while piping hot! Feel free to add more ichimi togarashi as necessary to individual servings.

Using a spatula, spread out the beef across the surface of the pan to create a thin layer of the ground beef then add all of the mirin, soy sauce, brown sugar, sake and ichimi togarashi over the entire surface of the ground beef. Put the skillet over high heat and quickly saute the beef and seasonings together until the beef is thoroughly coated and the sauce thickens a bit, approximately 5 minutes.
  3. Take the skillet off the heat and add the green onions, stirring to combine.
  4. Dish out the cooked rice into bowls then top generously with the yakitori ground beef mixture and enjoy while piping hot! Feel free to add more ichimi togarashi as necessary to individual servings.
