Spinach Quiche With Bread Crust

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Grease a cake pan, preferably silicon or with a removable bottom, with butter or margarine. A pie plate also works.
  3. Cut the bread slices to size and cover the bottom and sides of the cake pan.
  4. Set aside the extra bread.
  5. Combine the cheese, bacon, and spinach in a medium bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer and mix on medium for about 10 seconds.
  6. Add the extra bread, eggs, and milk, then season with the salt and pepper and mix for about 2 minutes on medium speed.
  7. Pour the mixture into the cake pan and bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes or until it is cooked through and slightly browned (can be tested with a toothpick).
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.
