Oriental Tuna Steaks
- 4 fresh tuna steaks 150 to 200 g each
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- Rinse the tuna steaks with cool water and dry with paper towels .
- Mix spices and salt and pepper.
- Place the tuna steaks in the marinade and turn to coat.
- Cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, prepare the dressing by mixing all ingredients in a bowl.
- Preheat grill for high heat.
- Lightly oil grill grate. Cook the tuna steaks for 5 to 6 minutes, then turn and baste with the marinade. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or to desired doneness.
- Serve in a plate and pour the seasonning sauce on tuna steaks.
