Tuna Burgers With Carrot And Raisin Salad
- 2 hamburger buns
- 2 cans tuna in water, drained
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons parsley minced
- 2 cloves garlic marinated, minced
- 1/2 lime
- salt and ground black pepper
- cooking spray
- light mayonnaise
- tomato sliced
- onion cut into half moons
- lettuce
- 4 carrots peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon cream
- salt and ground black pepper
- Mix the tuna, egg, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Divide into 2 sections and form into patties.
- Cook each patty in a little cooking spray on high heat until golden brown, about 5 minutes on each side.
- Spread half of each bun with mayonnaise. Layer lettuce, the tuna burgers, tomato, and onion, and cover with the other half of the bun.
- Make the salad by mixing the carrots, raisins, mayonnaise, cream, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
