SpäTzle With Turkey And Brussels Sprouts
- 7 ounces brussels sprouts trimmed
- 2 ounces spatzle or small gnocchi
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 onion small, thinly sliced
- 1 cutlet turkey, 4-5 oz, diced
- 1/3 cup milk
- chicken bouillon Pinch granulated
- chopped parsley for garnish
- Cook the Brussels sprouts in boiling salted water for 8-10 mins. Drain. Cook the spatzle in boiling salted water according to the package directions. Drain.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add the onions and saute until golden brown. Add the turkey to the skillet and saute until golden brown. Season and remove from the skillet. Deglaze the skillet with the milk and 1/4 cup water. Stir in the granulated chicken bouillon and bring to a boil. Add the spatzle, Brussels sprouts and turkey and mix well. Top with the onions and garnish with the parsley.
