Recipe: Turmeric Banana Mango Lassi
- 2 cups greek yogurt Organic\ with active live culture
- 2 bananas Frozen
- 1 mango Frozen
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger or fresh- grated
- 2 teaspoons honey preferably unpasteurized
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or ground vanilla
- 4 teaspoons ground turmeric or fresh turmeric root
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground cardamom
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 cup water or dairy-free almond or coconut milk
- 5 ice cubes
- Place yogurt, water or dairy-free milk and spices in a blender, pulse for 1 minute
- Add the Bananas\angos and ice cubes. Blend until well combined
- Modify to taste for sweetness or If you prefer a smoothie that is not as thick, add more liquid until the desired consistency is reached.
- Add 1-2 Scoops Protein Powder, if desired, as a quick meal replacement or post workout boost.
