Cumin And Caraway Naan Bread
- 3 2/3 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 7/8 tablespoon fresh yeast
- 1 1/8 cups water
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- vegetable oil
- Mix the flour, salt, yeast, and water. The dough should be dough and slightly sticky. Knead for 7 minutes.
- Add the seeds and knead again make sure they are distributed evenly. Shape into a ball.
- Grease a bowl and place the dough inside. Brush it with more oil. cover and let it rest.
- Once it is double its original size, place on a flat surface. Flatten using your hand and divide into 3 even pieces.
- Stretch each portion using a rolling pin and shape into an oval.
- In a large skillet, heat some vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the bread ovals and cook for at least 5 minutes on each side.
- Once golden brown on both sides, place on a cooling rack.
- Serve warm or cool.
