Gingerbread With Candied Orange
- whole milk 11 cl.
- 5/8 cup acacia honey liquid, or thousand flowers
- 4 1/4 tablespoons butter
- 1 7/8 cups flour 130 grams wheat flour and 100 grams rye flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 3/4 ounces sugar cane granulated
- salt
- 2 15/16 tablespoons spice gingerbread
- 5 tablespoons orange peels candied, diced
- Heat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
- In a saucepan, heat the milk, honey, and butter without letting them boil.
- In a bowl, pour the flours, baking soda, sugar, a pinch of salt, spices, and mix. Add the hot liquid and stir.
- Add the orange peel.
- Pour the mixture into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 50 minutes. Check with a knife that the gingerbread is cooked through.
- Let cool on a rack. Decorate with candied orange peel. Wrap in aluminium foil to keep it.
