Gingerbread With Candied Orange

  1. Heat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk, honey, and butter without letting them boil.
  3. In a bowl, pour the flours, baking soda, sugar, a pinch of salt, spices, and mix. Add the hot liquid and stir.
  4. Add the orange peel.
  5. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 50 minutes. Check with a knife that the gingerbread is cooked through.
  7. Let cool on a rack. Decorate with candied orange peel. Wrap in aluminium foil to keep it.
