Dannon Apple Spice Cake
- 2 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1 3/4 c. applesauce
- 1 1/4 c. Dannon plain nonfat yogurt
- 1/2 c. cholesterol-free egg substitute
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. raisins
- Quick Yogurt Glaze (recipe follows)
- In a large bowl, thoroughly combine dry ingredients.
- Add remaining ingredients except raisins; blend well using spoon. Stir in raisins.
- Pour into greased and floured 12-cup Bundt pan or 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Bake at 325u0b0 until toothpick comes out clean, 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Cool 15 minutes.
- Loosen cake from sides with spatula.
- Invert on plate.
- Cool completely.
