Chai Panna Cotta And Florentine Cookies

  2. Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan and add the chai tea. Place in a bowl covered with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 48 hours.
  3. Place the milk mixture into a heavy saucepan and sprinkle the gelatin over it. Let sit for 5 minutes. Heat until the mixture is warm, but do not allow to boil, approximately 3 or 4 minutes.
  4. When the gelatin has dissolved, stir in the cream, honey, sugar, and salt. Cook on medium-low heat until the sugar is dissolved, but without allowing the mixture to come to a boil, approximately 5 minutes.
  5. Let cool 10 minutes, place into ramekins or serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.

  7. Preheat the oven to 190 Celsius.
  8. Melt the butter and set aside. When tepid, add the oatmeal, sugar, flour, corn syrup, milk, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a silicone baking mat 3 centimeters apart, pressing each lightly with the hand to slightly flatten.
  10. Bae for 6-8 minutes until golden. Let cool completely before serving.
