Talerina
- 3 lb. ground meat
- 2 cans tomato paste (small)
- 2 cans tomato sauce (small)
- 1 large can tomatoes, partially drained
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 (12 1/2 to 14 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
- 1 can whole grain corn
- 1 small can black olives, chopped
- 5 onions, chopped
- 2 peppers, chopped
- salt to taste
- Worcestershire sauce
- NY sharp Cheddar cheese
- Saute onions and peppers in bacon grease if available. Add the meat, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook until brown. Add tomato paste, sauce, tomatoes and chili powder. Cook about 30 minutes. Boil egg noodles and drain.
- Mix together the meat mixture, noodles, corn and black olives.
- Pour into casserole dish. Grate the cheese over top. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
- Serves 12 to 16.
