Deep Dish Pizza Chicago Style

  1. Heat sausages and 1/4 cup water to boil.
  2. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Continue to cook, turning sausage frequently until well browned (about 20 minutes).
  4. Drain sausage on paper towel.
  5. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  6. Mix hot roll mix (and yeast) from package with oil and 1 1/2 cups hot water to form soft dough.
  7. Knead on lightly floured surface, 5 minutes.
  8. Pat dough onto bottom and halfway up sides of pan to make a stand-up edge.
  9. Cover.
  10. Let rise at room temperature, 15 minutes.
