Halloween Cereal Bars

  1. Add the cereal, 3 Tbsp of sprinkles and the peanut butter cups to a bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt the butter then stir in the marshmallows. Continue to stir until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal and mix until combined. Press into a lightly buttered baking dish. Pop into the fridge for 15 minutes until cooled and set.
  4. Cut the cereal treats into 8 pieces.
  5. Place a saucepan with a small amount of water just enough to cover the bottom, place a glass bowl on to. Keep the heat at the lowest heat. Add the chocolate chips to the bowl and stir frequently until the chocolate is melted. Shut the heat and remove the bowl from the pot. *Be sure to use a rubber or metal spoon, wood will add moisture and the chocolate will seize up*
  6. Dip an end of each bar into the chocolate then into the sprinkles. Place onto parchment paper lined baking sheet and pop into the fridge just to harden the chocolate.
