Popovers With Strawberry Butter
- 1 cup Pillsbury BEST All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/3 cup Smucker's Strawberry Preserves
- 1/2 cup butter 1 stick, softened
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar or to taste
- Crisco Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- HEAT oven to 450u0b0F. Sift together flour and salt in large bowl. Whisk eggs and milk in small bowl. Add milk mixture to flour mixture. Whisk until smooth. Chill 20 minutes.
- COMBINE preserves, butter and powdered sugar in medium bowl, stirring until well blended. Place in a serving dish. Chill until ready to serve.
- HEAT 12-muffin tin in hot oven 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Coat generously with no-stick cooking spray.
- FILL 9 muffin cups half full with chilled batter. Bake 5 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 375u0b0F. Bake an additional 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Do not open oven door during baking.
- SERVE immediately with Strawberry Butter.
