Strawberry Champagne Cakes
- 1 package french vanilla cake mix Duncan Hines(R) Signature
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup champagne
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 containers Creamy Home-Style Classic Vanilla Frosting
- 6 drops red food color
- strawberries Fresh
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Grease and flour 18x12-inch jelly roll pan.
- Combine cake mix, eggs, champagne, water and oil in large bowl.
- Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool completely on wire rack. Remove cake. Cut cake in half to form 2 pieces about 11x8-inches each.
- Blend frosting and red food color.
- Spread frosting on one cake half; top with remaining cake half.
- Cut cake into 15 rectangles. Pipe frosting on tops and garnish with strawberries.
