Fragrant Fusilli With Crispy Sausage

  1. Peel the potatoes, rinse them well and cut into pieces.
  2. Remove the sausage casing and break it up into pieces.
  3. Fill a pot with water and salt, when the water boils add the potatoes, the fennel seeds, and the pasta and cook until done.
  4. In the meantime, chop the rosemary and set it aside.
  5. Heat the oil in a large pan, add the sausage and brown it well.
  6. Drain the pasta and the potatoes and add them to the sausage in the pan.
  7. Season to taste with salt, a generous amount of freshly cracked pepper, some rosemary, and saute quickly on high heat.
  8. Serve immediately.
